Health & Production Statement
As many know I was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. In 2017 due to severe side effects from surgeries and chemotherapy I had little choice but to discontinue production. The next several years were (and still are) very challenging due to the continued surgeries and chemo therapies. In 2020 the cancer metastasized to my lungs making this diagnosis a Stage 4. Fortunately God had opened doors to City of Hope in Los Angeles, CA.. At this time I am on a “trial like” treatment combination of immunotherapy and a low dose chemo. As of this writing the treatment has stabilized the tumors in my lungs and the side effects are much less severe than previous treatments which has allowed me to start enjoying the better things of life!
For the last year I have taken advantage of my health and have been designing ideas from the past and present with the hope of creating some of the most exciting and progressive TouchStyle Guitars ever! Health dependent… I will be presenting these new designs in the near future. Though I do not plan on production of past Warr Guitar models as well as production per-say of my new designs, I do plan on creating/producing unique individual TouchStyle Guitars as my “art”; building unique experiences. This means I will not be taking orders or doing any customization… Once complete, I will place the design for sale “as is”. I am taking this approach because I have no idea how long my present treatment will keep me stable. The last thing I want is to leave customers high-and-dry…
I want to sincerely thank all those who have sent me prayers and supportive emails, etc. during my time of disability. I appreciate them greatly and they have been a great source of inspiration! God has surely blessed me…
Thank you and God Bless,
John 3:16-17
